how does it work

The principle of 3D Food Printing is similar to a piping bag. Like any other 3D-printer, the Focus 3D Food Printer extrudes paste-type ingredients, layer-by-layer, while moving in a specific, programmed shape, to obtain a 3D object. From preparation to the final food creation, the process is done in a few simple steps. Check out what they are!

step 1.
CREATE OR CHOOSE A SHAPE

step 3.
SET UP THE PRINTER AND PRINT

The prepared food paste needs to be placed in a food cartridge, which is later attached to the Focus 3D Food Printer. Once it’s done, the last thing to do is to press PRINT on the touchscreen. The machine will create the selected shape - directly on the printer’s glass plate, or on a cookie, cake or a silicone mat. The average printing time is 3-10 mins, depending on the chosen shape.

step 4.
store

Printed dishes don’t need to be served immediately. If you wish to print in large amounts and store your creations for later, we recommend using silicone mats and a (shock) freezer. Print directly on the mat, place it with the dish in the freezer and simply take out a few minutes before serving.
